Safety Features:
‘User protect’ feature gives visual warning if spray temperature exceeds 44°C, and power to elements is reduced automatically. If temperature continues to rise the water flow is turned off. This ensures spray temperature never exceeds 48°C. When ‘User protect’ has operated and cut off water flow by shutting down the unit, the manual reset procedure is straightforward but requires an informed person such as a supervisor.
Two-stage shutdown involves a brief flow of cold water to cool the elements after switching off. This prevents any accumulation of hot water which might cause discomfort if the shower is switched back on immediately.
